Rick Ramsbottom

Rick Ramsbottom is a leading Canadian sponsorship and marketing executive. Over the past 25 years, Rick has worked in professional sports with the Vancouver Canucks and Vancouver Whitecaps, as well as on major nation-building events including the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and the Toronto 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games.
As the Vice President, Sponsorship Sales and Service for Toronto 2015, Rick was responsible for all corporate partnerships leading the record-setting sponsorship program that delivered $135M in revenue – over three times any previous Pan American Games.
Rick is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of UNITE Partnerships Inc., a sponsorship sales and marketing agency based in Vancouver, BC. UNITE is the agency of record for Panam Sports, Curling Canada, and the JUNO Awards. UNITE also leads the sponsorship sales efforts for profile events and organizations in British Columbia such as the Vancouver Sun Run, Pacific National Exhibition, the Vancouver International Jazz Festival and Vancouver Bike Share.
A strong believer in community, Rick volunteers his time to coach soccer in his home of Port Moody. He is also the Board Chair for viaSport British Columbia, and a Board Director with the Canada Games Council.
